The room, while beautifully decorated and comfortable, lacked certain modern amenities such as a flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi access, which may be expected in a luxury setting. The absence of air conditioning could also be a drawback during warmer seasons.On the positive side, the housekeeping was impeccable, and the parquet floors added a touch of elegance to the room. The garden area was a tranquil spot to unwind, although it was still in the process of being fully landscaped during my stay. The free parking was convenient for guests with vehicles.In terms of value, McDougall Lane Bed & Breakfast offers a charming and clean environment, ideal for those seeking a peaceful retreat.
